From a derivative of G911; to make whelmed (that is, fully wet); used only (in the New Testament) of ceremonial ablution*, especially (technically) of the ordinance of Christian baptism: - baptist, baptize, wash.

***Ablution: In a general sense, the act of washing; a cleansing or purification by water.***

John 3:18 – He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God. We must know and believe in the Name of the Anointed Son of GOD!

Galatians 2:16-17Vs. 16. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Christ, even we have believed in Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17. But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. We cannot be justified by keeping the Laws alone; we Must also have the testimony of Christ and know His Name!

John 3:18 – He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God. What is His Name?

Matthew 3:4-6Vs. 4. And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5. Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6. And Yashai, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: 17. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I Am well pleased. John performed the final act of preparedness and was given confirmation by the Most HIGH afterwards. This is also showing that Christ our Savior was baptized in the water as our example to also be baptized.

Matthew 3:11 – I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire: John the Baptist explains the difference between his physical baptism and Yashai’s spiritual baptism.

John 3:22-30Vs. 22. After these things came Yasha and His disciples into the land of Judaea; and there He tarried with them, and baptized. 23. And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. 24. For John was not yet cast into prison. 25. Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. 26. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, He that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to Him. 27. Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Yashai. 36. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37. And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Yashai Christ is the Son of God. 38. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. Phillip baptized the believing eunuch.

Matthew 10:5-7Vs. 5. These twelve Yashai sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel7. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. The Gentiles were able to receive the Holy Spirit and to be baptized.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Yashai gave His final words in commanding His disciples both then and now to feed the flock; That is to teach all nations the things in which Yashai commanded them. Yashai also commanded them to baptize them in the Name of The Father (AHHAYAH), The Son (YASHAI) and The Holy Spirit (CHAAKAMAH = Wisdom)!

John 3:1-8 – Vs. 1. There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2. Yashai answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5. Yashai answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Paul is not speaking of the regular water baptism; he’s speaking of the husbands and wives in Christ being spoken of in verse 25. Baptism of the water (being fully submerged) is required as Yashai Christ was and still is our example in doing so.

βαπτίζω - baptizō - bap-tid'-zo

From a derivative of G911; to make whelmed (that is, fully wet); used only (in the New Testament) of ceremonial ablution*, especially (technically) of the ordinance of Christian baptism: baptist, baptize, wash.

Romans 6:1 – What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? When we got baptized, our sinful ways should no longer continue but left drowning in the bottom of that water. We ought to be nurturing the new life by growing it in the foundation of TRUTH/GOD!!!

1st John 3:4 – Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. The Most HIGH’s Laws confirms that we’re committing sin. It basically keeps us in check!

Romans 6:1-14 – Vs. 1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Yashai Christ were baptized into His death? 4. Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: 6. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin7. For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him. 10. For in that He died, He died unto sin once: but in that He liveth, He liveth unto God. 11. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Yashai Christ our Lord. 12. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the Law, but under Grace. Once baptized in Christ we should be walking in the newness of life; worshipping the HOLY Father in Spirit and in Truth. When we keep the Laws and have the Testimony of Christ, it puts us under Grace!!!
